If the answer to this question is “yes,” Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) offers multidisciplinary educational programs covering a range of human sciences and services related to children, families, schools, and communities for students who are interested in careers in:

  • Early childhood education
  • Human services
  • Family finance
  • Family and consumer sciences

Advising and support staff provide a welcoming academic environment. Faculty provide you with the coursework and experiences needed for your career in helping individuals and families. Choose from one of four undergraduate major options:

Child Adult and Family Services (ChFS)
Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Financial Counseling and Planning (FCP)
Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies (FCEdS)
