Through contract-supported partnerships with the Iowa Departments of Human Services (IDHS), the CWRTP facilitates and evaluates trainings for IDHS staff and community provider agencies and evaluates services delivered by agencies:

  • Annual contracts for the financial year 2012 total $4.4 million.
  • The CWRTP engages with approximately 800 agencies, 3,500 workers, and 200,000 cases annually.
  • Research opportunities include the evaluation of programs and services.
  • The CWRTP office is located in Elm Hall on the ISU campus, with some staff located at field offices throughout the state or at state government buildings in Des Moines.
  • During the financial year 2012, 38 staff members, 9 graduate students, and 3 undergraduate students are involved in the work of CWRTP.
