I was responsible for...
Throughout this internship I have the experience with grant writing, coordinating volunteers, social media, training video, and many more things. During this, I have also helped with planning the gala and 5K walk in the fall because I started my internship early with doing 100 hours in the fall. With that, I have also been able to experience what board meetings are like and how to run a board meeting.
I think that my greatest accomplishment has been the training video that I made. With that, I got experience working with the bylaws of an organization and now I have a better understanding of what it is like to create a training template. I want to go into HR after graduation so this is something that I was very passionate about.
The greatest lesson I learned is the importance of asking questions when confused. Some of the expectation I was required to do I have had no previous experience doing. With that, a the beginning I was afraid to ask too many questions. Since then, I've learned how important it is to continue to ask questions and realized it makes things a lot clearer.
