If you’re planning a campus visit, stop in and say hello to the staff in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) office in 2230 Palmer Building. An academic adviser will be glad to discuss course requirements and answer your questions in person, by phone, or via email. We also encourage you to visit the Iowa State University Admissions Office to speak with an adviser.
Campus visit: Contact the Admissions Office at 800-262-3810 to arrange for a campus visit. Your campus visit will include an appointment with an academic adviser, a tour of our laboratories, and a lot of useful information about Iowa State.
Day in the Life: Find out what it’s really like to be an Iowa State student by signing up for the “Day in the Life” visit day. This visit is designed for students who have been offered admission and previously participated in a campus visit with Admissions. Students have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at college by shadowing a current student Ambassador.
College of Human Sciences group visits: Designed for school classes, clubs, or organizations.
